Our Team
Chris Jacobs
Chris is a highly experienced and tenacious lawyer who always goes that extra mile for his clients. He deals with all aspects of criminal defence ranging from police station matters, and Magistrates court to the most serious offences in the Crown Court. Over the years Chris has developed an intricate knowledge of the law but most importantly the experience and judgement to get the best possible results for his clients. Defending someone is not just about legal knowledge but is about the ability to judge situations, evaluate evidence and anticipate what is required to win a case. Chris has successfully defended clients in murder cases, multi-million pound frauds and historical sex offences as well as so called less serious offences such as theft, possession of drugs and driving offences. He has a very strong working relationship with senior barristers and QC’s as well as experts in areas such as psychiatry, computer and telephone evidence, forensics and many more. These links mean he can build the best and strongest defence possible for you. Perhaps though, Chris’s strongest asset is his ability to get on with and understand people. He understands that no matter the perceived seriousness of a case that all cases are just as important and serious to the individual facing them. He knows that having a full understanding of a persons situation and personal circumstances can be just as important as the evidence in their case and that in the most stressful times of a persons life it is not only legal advice that is needed but strong and reliable support.
